Welcome to Arc. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Arc website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Arc. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or compromise the safety of other users.

3. Your content

You retain full ownership of every photo, note, measurement, and entry you upload ("Your Content"). You grant Arc a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate the Service for you. We do not sell Your Content, do not use it to train third-party AI models, and do not share it with advertisers.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to (a) upload content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful to others; (b) attempt to access accounts that are not yours; (c) reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service; or (d) use Arc to harass, exploit, or impersonate any person.

5. Health and medical disclaimer

Arc is a personal journaling tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Information in the Service — including content related to GLP-1 medication, fitness, or wellness — is for informational and personal-tracking purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding any medical questions, medication dosing, or changes to your routine.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Some features may require a paid subscription. Prices, billing cycles, and renewal terms are presented at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and prior payments are non-refundable except where required by law.

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. Upon termination we will delete Your Content in accordance with our Privacy Policy, except where retention is required by law.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arc is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Arc is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
